NFPA 101 – the Life Safety Code – is issued by NFPA and has been approved as an American National Standard and adopted by the State Fire Marshal’s Office. Attendees should have an intermediate level of NFPA 101 knowledge, and a basic understanding of the structure, goals, and objectives of this code. The presentation will be in the form of PowerPoint slides and verbal instructional discussions. It is highly recommended that attendees bring a copy of the Life Safety Code to this class. This will be an interactive class with time for questions and answers.

Morning Session – 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

The morning session will cover the major core chapters of the Life Safety Code: Administration, Referenced Publications, General (Goals, Objectives, Options), Features of Fire Protection and Building Services (Smoke Control, Elevators, etc.)

Afternoon Session – 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Continuation with discussions on the following NFPA 101 topics: Means of Egress, Business, Building Rehabilitation

Pricing is as follows:

All Day – $230 Member/$330 Nonmember (all day registration for in person attendees includes lunch)

AM Only (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) – $115 Member/$165 Nonmember

PM Only (12:30 PM – 4:30 PM) – $115 Member/$165 Nonmember
