A Century of Leadership in Engineering
Since 1898, the Louisiana Engineering Society (LES) has served as the unified voice of the engineering profession in Louisiana. As the only active statewide organization representing all engineering disciplines, LES connects professionals across specialties, regions and generations. Through advocacy, professional development and community engagement, we work to strengthen the profession and elevate the impact engineers have on the future of our state.
LES supports engineers at every stage of their careers. We provide opportunities for continuing education, foster statewide networking, support ethical and competent practice and serve as a liaison with the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board (LAPELS).
Through local chapters, annual conferences and industry partnerships, LES builds a professional community rooted in integrity, expertise and service.
